Below are some of top tools that I use and recommend. I only include products that I am excited about, so you won’t find anything that doesn’t give me the warm and fuzzies. I spent far too long analyzing each and every one of the purchases below before I pulled the trigger myself, so know that these babies are winners.

Audio-Technica ATR2100 – I recently purchased a couple of these bad boys for voice overs, interviews and future podcasting. LOVE them.

Zoom H5 – This portable recorder really got the ball rolling for me. This also eliminated the need for a mixer, as long as you are willing to put in a little more work in post production.

Audio-Technica M50x – These professional studio monitor headphones are the real deal. I’m no audiophile, but even my amateur ears could easily hear the difference after upgrading to these cans.
